Vidya Canvas started with frustration—and a vision.
Like most students, I was overwhelmed trying to navigate college admissions. I bounced between a dozen websites, random blogs, expensive “advisors,” and endless YouTube videos. Some were helpful. Most were confusing, outdated, or just trying to sell something. I realized what was missing: a simple, free platform with everything students actually need—no distractions, no paywalls, no pressure.
That’s why I built Vidya Canvas.
It’s a space made by students, for students. A place where guidance is real, tools are practical, and your goals come first. Whether you’re calculating your GPA, searching for scholarships, or figuring out what colleges might fit you, Vidya Canvas is here to help—clearly, honestly, and always free.

- Shweta Singh (CEO): Oversees product development and major initiatives.
- Tech Team: Builds and maintains the website/app, develops AI tools, and manages LLM training on recycled GPUs.
- Public Relations Team: Manages social media, press releases, partnerships with schools and news channels, and community outreach.
- Executive Management: Handles team coordination, project timelines, and big-picture decision-making.
- Donations & Finance: Tracks funding, oversees donations, manages budgets, and ensures financial transparency.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Recruits, trains, and manages over 30 volunteers for poster distribution, event support, and community engagement.
- Contact/Support: Responds to inquiries from students, parents, teachers, and partners to provide info and resources.
